Mr. Malone spent 30 years in the consumer telecommunications industry working for SBC, AT&T, Lucent, Philips and VTech before starting MarketWise. He held management positions in all marketing disciplines. His most recent position was as Director of Market Intelligence for VTech Communications. In this position, he acted as an internal consultant helping all departments integrate consumer insights into everyday decisions including product development, marketing messages, product design and customer services. His areas of expertise are in market intelligence, strategic planning, product ideation and segmentation. Mr. Malone holds a degree in Research Psychology from the University of Texas and was previously on the board of directors of Friends Retirement Concepts, Inc. serving as Vice Chair of the board and Chair of the marketing council, a member of the American Marketing Association and has previously served on the Consumer Electronics Association's Market Research Executive Committee.
